Casecnan Multipurpose Irrigation & Power Project-IC
Construction of irrigation facilities and improvement of drainage system for 35,000 ha.of new area. Establishment of re-use points and intermediate farm ponds for both new and rehab areas. Rehab. of selected irrigation and drainage facilities in Upper Pampanga River Integrated Irrigation System (UPRIIS) and pursuit of institutional development in the new areas, including initiatives of pilot areas for diversified irrigation.
Tarlac Groundwater Irrigation System Reactivation Project
Construction of 50 deepwell pump irrigation systems with an aggregate area of 2,500 ha. to increase food production in the province.
Water Resources Development Project
WRDP would help the Government implement a broad policy and institutional framework in the water sector; formulate a national water resources management strategy that reflects the nation's social, economic; and environmental objectives; adopt a river basin approach, integrating land-use policies and agricultural practices with water management, prepare and implement catchment management plans to properly improve upstream watersheds for sustaining irrigation and other policies assuring water quality, and protecting aquatic ecosystems; improve the performance of existing national irrigation systems and emphasize decentralized management participation of stakeholders and greater cost recovery.
Southern Philippines Irrigation Sector Project
The project will construct and improve small-to-medium scale irrigation systems, strengthen irrigation operation and maintenance (O&M) through beneficiaries participation, and institutional capacity of executing agencies. In the Southern Philippines, the project will develop irrigation and drainage facilities covering about 15,745 ha. for intensive cultivation of rice and other crops, and will benefit about 10,000 farm households, about 44 percent of which have income below the poverty threshold. Small Reservoir Projects (SRIPs) will be constructed in Region VI & VII, rehabilitation/construction of NIS & CIS will be undertaken in ARMM and CARAGA regions.

  • Development of on-farm facilities including land development;

  • Relocation and/or resettlement of families (about 268 families) affected by the dam  construction and reservoir.

  • Water management plan including water measurement and communication network.

Which spans over the municipalities of Concepcion, Gerona, Pura, Ramos, Paniqui, La Paz, Victoria and Citry of Tarlac all in the Province of Tarlac. Major features of the project is a 113 meter high earth and rockfill dam with a storage capacity of about 625 million cu.m. It similarly envisions to mitigate flooding in low-lying areas and to provide the upland communities with the opportunity to engage in inland fish production on the 2,004 has. reservoir. The main dam and reservoir is located at Bgy. Maamot, San Jose, Tarlac about 48 kms. west of the City of Tarlac.

Aulo Small Reservoir Irrigation Project
Construction of a Zoned Earthfill dam 30 meters high, with a crest length of 425 meters and reservoir area of 103 ha. to irrigate an area of 810 ha.
Agno River Integrated Irrigation Project
The project envisions the provision of year- round irrigation to some 70,800 ha. of land lying in the province of Pangasinan and Tarlac. The source of water supply would be the proposed San Roque multipurpose dam of the National Power Corporation. The major civil works for the irrigation phase comprises of repair of existing Agno RIS diversion weir and sluiceway; construction of new intake structure, re-regulating pond with capacity of 4.6 mcm and two headgates for ARIS and ADRIS Area; construction of siphon across Agno River that will link to ADRIS-LARIS Main Canal at the right bank of the whole ARIS Area, including the rehabilitation irrigation drainage facilities of the existing ARIS (26,850 ha.) and construction of new facilities for ARIA Extension Area  (23,700 ha.). Other features are the construction of canal structures, on-farm and drainage facilities, and farm-to-market roads.
